One map for all pages with different locations or zoom factor

    Hello,

    great plugin so far.
    What I would need in addition is to have one map for many pages.

    – the map holds all markers and layers (eg. hotels in europe)
    – on the vienna page I want to show the map with zoomlevel vienna
    – on the munich page I want to show the map with zoomlevel munich

    One map, one marker per location. Usable on many pages via zoomlevel and new center or category, e.g. “vienna”.

    Understand what I am talking about?
    Is there any way to have this solved?

    Hi Chris,

    thanks for your interest in my plugin!

    What you described should be possible: you could create a marker map for each hotel. Then you could create a multi layer map (advanced editor has to be turned on for this!) showing all markers of your installation and set the zoom center to Vienna. Then you could create another same multi-layer-map which zoom center is Munich.
    Or you could assign the Vienna marker map to the layer “Austria” and the Munich marker map to the layer “Germany”. Then you could create multi-layer-map(s) which includes markers from both layers.
    Hope that it is now clearer which possibilities you have.

    Hi Robert,

    thank you for the quick reply. I do already have a layered map, that works fine. This way seems not the right one for my needs (It’s a workaround).
    Doing this, I would need hundrets of maps, one map for each marker, so to speak.
    Markers should been available on more than one map, that would really help. For less effort it must be a map which contains all markers and a shortcode that uses that map for a region or category only.

    adding markers to multiple layers is on the roadmap for a later pro release, although there is not date for this yet.
