One login to multiple sites

    So… after HOURS of turture and getting 2 different wp installs under 1 DB with different table prefixes, and adding cutstom user table to the wp-config file, and messing with the PHPmyAdmin, I have FINALLY gotten both sites to share users. I was hoping that once I was logged in on one site, I was automatically going to login to the other site. Apperently, this wasn’t the case.
    I believe I have to do it through cookies, as I read the proper term is not “synch”ing files.
    Could anyone help me find a way to do so?

    which I think it COULD help, but I don’t know… it is old, what do you guys think? Is it outdated?

    In a nutshell I just want to login once across both sites. Thanks a bunch in advance.
