    Hi,

Just wondering is it possible to have one filter for multiple tables which both contain a column called “Year”.

I would like to have a dropdown filter at the top of the page called “Year” where a user would select a year and then multiple tables below get populated with data for that year. Both tables have a common column which is hidden called “Year”.

    For example:

Filter: Year Dropdown – user selects 2013

Table 1 shows all data for year 2013

Table 2 shows all data for year 2013

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

Unfortunately, I’m not aware of an existing solution, here, sorry 🙁
The TablePress Extension from http://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-columnfilterwidgets/ can add dropdowns, but those are only applied to a single table. Making this work for multiple tables at the same time would require modifications in the JS code of that Extension, I guess. As I didn’t develop that JS code, but only made it available as a TablePress Extension, I can’t really help with that, though 🙁 Sorry.

    Regards,
    Tobias
