    Can you help me with the “One-Click Child Theme” plug-in?

    I followed the descriptions from this site which looks pretty straight forward…:

    After the install/activate, the child theme was the active theme, but was as default. All my changes to the parent theme from before, was now reset. My next step was to update the parent theme, but still all is as default.

    What am I doing wrong? I just want to have a child theme, so I can update my theme whenever a new update is available, and still keep all my changes in CSS files and so on…

    PS: Backup was made before installing the plug-in. I deleted everything from my server via FTP, and uploaded everything back again. The parent theme is now the active one, and are as before (all good), but the One-Click Child Theme plug-in is still installed (not active) on my server…
