• We love the plugin, it works great on our site. Wanted to know if it would be possible though to add a feature that would better allow users to customize the location where there map zooms on the pageload. For example, we would like to be able to zoom to a map that shows all of Africa on pageload. However, the first and last points on our route are not in the center of Africa, and thus the map is offcenter, and we have to zoom out really far to get the whole continent in the map. Any chance that the settings could be adjusted to allow users to select a specific point for a map to zoom on pageload? Many thanks, Marc

  • Yes! I completely agree with the post above. I LOVE this map program and have used it to create all my travel maps for my site.

But sometimes I want to show the destination of my trips, but the only options are the beginning and end, which is always my hometown…

Is there any way we can customize where each map id zooms to on pageload, and also at what zoom level? Some trips cover a LOT of ground whereas other are more local, and thus different zoom levels are appropriate.

Is there a way to cover both these items with shotcode tags we could add on to each map’s shortcode?

    Thanks!

Hi, I just wanted to follow up on this question and see if anyone had any suggestions about how to edit the pageload zoom location. (I tried to tinker with the code myself, but quickly realized I was in way over my head.) I love this plugin, and this is really one of the only features I wish I could change. In case it is of assistance, here is a link to the map for which I am trying to recenter the pageload zoom.
