You know the 'older updates' link that shows up at the end of the page. Or 'previous page'. I don't have one of those, it's it's pretty critical for the kind of site I have.
Does anybody know how to put it on?

There are a couple of standard navigation bars within wordPress:
- Older/Newer Posts
- Older/Newer Comments
- Next/Previous links when a single page, or post, is broken down into 2 or more displayed pages
