   I new to WordPress and I'm slowly getting a feel for it. However, I've created a blog page and the "older entries" link is not working. When you click it, it loads the same page again and shows the same 5 posts. Obviously I have more that 5 posts in my blog.
   As you can see I've set the page to display 5 posts at a time...

   try:

   <?php query_posts('posts_per_page=5&paged='.get_query_var('page')) ?>

   http://codex.wordpress.org/Class_Reference/WP_Query#Pagination_Parameters

   if that does not work, try:

   <?php query_posts('posts_per_page=5&paged='.get_query_var('paged')) ?>
