Old Blue b2 theme or template for WordPress

    I read about people really missing the old b2 template/theme and simply redid the new WordPress replacing the old with the new and here is what I came up with. http://dinki.mine.nu/weblog/indexb2.php If otaku42 comes to our rescue again and hosts the index file and the css, it should be up for download soon. Hope this makes someones’ day!

    PS: I am kinda color blind, so the old b2 theme that looks blue to me 🙂

    I appreciate your offer, but the hosting has been taken care of by otaku42. I am sure there will be another project soon that I will ask you for help on. 🙂

    Neat! Unfortunately your adaptation has a lot of the same weaknesses that the original b2 CSS had, that is a lot of unnecessary hacks and being overly verbose in places. I’ve redone it removing some of the unecessary classes and rules and tweaking it to get as close to the old b2 look as possible. (One change, I added a little margin to the bottom of paragraphs. I couldn’t stand the no space between paragraphs on old b2 blogs.) It’s about half the size and works really well with the default WordPress index.php. So just drop in the CSS file and go!

    Sorry, I simply did a diff of the file, I should have taken it more seriously and made some performance modifications. Glad it worked out in the end though!!

    allusion, good work! it works.
    but it does not look quite good with mozilla/firebird,
    the calender goes out of the right column.
    would you have time to fix it?
