Just noticed (prior to updating to 3.3.1) that an old post was showing at the top of the list. We do not use sticky posts. The post in question also showed in the normal chronology further down below (the post was from last year). I tried deleting the post, but then another old post popped up to the top of the list in its place.
Also, new posts are not showing at all.
Any ideas?
I updated to 3.3.1, but no change.

login to wp-admin
go to settings
reading settings
and click on show latest posts

Thanks Alex - If it were only that simple. Our site has a static home page.
The current order of posts is very weird. The top post is an old one form last year, then the second post is one from earlier this month and the rest of the posts seem to be in normal chronological order. The most recent few posts do not show at all.
