   been tweaking with design as a procrastination method but it's time to start writing.
   want to change a couple things, add links, shrink header image. but so far, so good.
   how do i get rid of the <<Jul under the calendar?

   It's really simple and easy to read. I like that. But one thing you should probably do is not post under the name "site admin" unless you actually want to do that... :)
   Also, starting a links to your favorite sites might be a good idea as well. That's not exactly necessary though and heck, maybe you don't want to follow the crowd :)
