    Help!
I have just purchased a domain from Godaddy, and am hosting it on my friend's account @ Justhost.
After everything was set up, I tried to install WordPress using Fantastico in the site's control panel. Everything seemed ok, apart from the fact that when I went to the WP-admin to check everything, it looked like this: (wp-admin page). Not the standard WP admin screen at all :/
Even worse, the default template on the homepage looks even worse! - Pixelatedblonde.com
What on earth has happened? I contacted my friend's host about the issue, they replied claiming to have reinstalled it and that everything works "fine", but it still appears the same to me!!
For the record, my friend has wordpress installed on his main site, which works fine. So what's the deal with this funky-looking wordpress on my site? Anybody know?

No stylesheets for the admin nor themes. It seems like not all files got transferred to the server.

would you suggest I installed it manually then? Because this has happened after reinstalling wordpress several times via fantastico

If you can, yes do it manually. Or start by checking if all files got uploaded properly.

    Right, I'm so confused.
I've basically heard 3 different answers on how to resolve this issue. The first is that my domain has yet to fully propagate as it is only 24 hours old and this would perhaps explain the problem. I'm a little wary of this answer though, as surely it wouldn't install wordpress and then not bother uploading a simple css file?
The second is that it didn't fully install and just needs a simple reinstall. This did not work.
The third being that there is a line under my host's wordpress .htaccess file which reads:
    ^(.*)\.css$ /wp-content/plugins/script-compressor/jscsscomp.php?q=$1.css [NC,L]

Anyone know what this reads in English/ how it is causing the error? I'm so confused!!!

The first is that my domain has yet to fully propagate...

Possible, but becomes less probable as time passes. This isn't about what has been uploaded or not. Its more like when you move from one place to the next and some, but not all, of your mail gets delivered to the wrong address for awhile.

The second is that it didn't fully install and just needs a simple reinstall. This did not work.

How did you do the re-install? Same script as did the install?

The third being that there is a line under my host's wordpress .htaccess file which reads:
    ^(.*)\.css$ /wp-content/plugins/script-compressor/jscsscomp.php?q=$1.css [NC,L]

A plugin inserted that line. Its probably optimizing and compressing your css files. This is good in theory, but it might be working properly. Go to you plugins management page and switch off any plugins named similar to 'script compressor'. See if that helps.

Hello and thanks for your suggestions.
The issue is now resolved, basically it did lie in the line as mentioned in my .htaccess file. Removing it seemed to clear up the css complications. Thank you for everything!:)
