   by changing the WordPress address (URL)in General settings - can't access admin - no user/pass seems to get me back in and no email received for pass reset!?
   Help!
   I do have ftp access.
   the install is at niksnexus.net/weblog and I foolhardedly changed the url setting to intothedialectic.com which is the domain name being forwarded to the original niksnexus.net/weblog

   change the URL back to original in the database through phpmyadmin

   OK, checking that out, thank you - my intention was to change url/permalinks to reflect new domain name, but obviously that was a misdirected experiment!

   I would think if you have the URL properly routed, and tchange the URLs, that would be proper.... guess not...

   Maybe you only change the Site Address URL?

   thanks so much, that worked a treat! I'm trying to figure out how to change the permalink/url structure to reflect a new domain name that forwards to the original?
