    Hi there,
Unless the theme is good looking and somehow responsive, but main issues are mentioned below:
    1- doesn’t support RTL automatically
2- uselessly complicated coding, many bugs
3- not free and it’s beta version
    Regards

    Hi John,

Thanks for your comments. We’d love to hear more about your thoughts and would be more than happy to address any concerns you have.

    Point 1.

RTL functionality is not available in Minamaze, this is a feature of Minamaze (Pro). Although we can consider adding this to a future version if there’s a strong enough need. Minamaze doesn’t include the RTL tag on the download page, so I’m not sure why you’d think it would include this feature given that there’s no indication that the theme is RTL ready.

    Point 2.

It’s surprising to hear that you’ve found some bugs in the theme. All themes are checked by the WordPress review team prior to approval, so they would normally pick up on these.

Would you mind telling us which bugs you’ve found? We’d love to know so we can get a fix in place asap.

Please note that the theme has been checked using the Theme Check plugin, w3 validator, and also in-browser debugging tools and no errors were flagged. If you are see an error, please let us know and we’ll get a fix in place asap.

Also, I agree that the code might on initial glance appear complicated. However, if you want to discuss we’ll be more than happy to explain why this approach has been used. Essentially Minamaze is a very advanced theme and as such the code has a slightly different structure to what you’d expect from more basic themes.

Here’s a link to W3 validator checked for the Minamaze demo site, and you’ll see clearly that no errors are picked up on the frontend:

    http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwp-themes.com%2Fminamaze%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0

If you’re having issues, then this is likely to be due to a conflict of some sort. Again, please do get in touch and we’ll be more than happy to help resolve any of these.

    Point 3.

The theme available here at WordPress.org is 100% free. It is a Lite version of our premium Minamaze (Pro) theme. All the features in the theme are working and are not locked behind a paywall. The theme is not is not beta, the alpha and beta testing was completed well before release.

However, again if you’re finding that some of the features aren’t working please do get in touch and again we can help.

It really does sound like there’s a conflict of some sort going on, as points 2 and 3 raised above should not be the case.

Thanks. Look forward to hearing back from you soon! We’ll absolutely work with you until we get all of your concerns addressed.

    Just major concerns:
    1- ... http://gabrieljdelatorre.com/wp-content/themes/minamaze/lib/scripts/main-backend.js ...
    (instead of Google APIs?)
    2- .mo doesn’t work
Please consider: A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

    Hi John,

    Point 1:

That main-backend.js script contains theme specific code. It’s loaded from the core theme file. We can of course store it in a 3rd party location and load it up from there, but that wouldn’t really make a difference. Plus this code is only specific to Minamaze, so logically it should be placed in the theme folder and not elsewhere. Plus this allows for users to make customizations if they choose, which wouldn’t be possible if the file was stored on a 3rd party site. Infact having it in the core theme folder means it loads quicker, as it’s called locally.

If we’re missing something please let us know.

Your points are absolutely valid. Have you considered joining the WordPress theme review team? These review skills would really be of benefit to the team and overall benefit the WordPress community.

    Point 2:

The translation issue has already been discussed in another ticket, and as mentioned we’re offering premium support directly from our main site on that 1 issue until the update is released.

    Dear ThinkUpThemes team,

Firstly I would like to appreciate you for the amazing theme (i.e. Minamaze) you have created and have provided freely to everyone for use!

I have been using the theme (version 1.1.1) for about a month now and I am quite satisfied with it. I’ve even managed to use it as RTL through a plugin and the layout is very responsive and user-friendly. The only problem I have just faced recently is that when I create a new page, the same page title also appears on the bottom of the screen ( i.e. the lower part of the footnote and right above where you have signed the theme by this writing: Developed by Think Up Themes Ltd. Powered by WordPress . Is it a bug? How can I remove these unwanted links while keeping the newly created pages?

Thank you in advance for your tips.

    Best regards,
