Could we see a demo?
Could we see a demo?
I'd be happy to, but, like, how would I demo admin interface to you?
Added to the wiki, a demo would be nice, yes :)
I'm not about to open up my admin inteface to everyone just to demo a plugin, and setting up a special blog just for this is currently beyond me. :) If anyone has a better solution, let's hear it.
KaShirow, screenshots might suffice, I am just curious to see what it looks like, and if you have these little things, people tend to like these things.
Well, here's a screenshot. :) There's nothing particularily fancy about the way it looks, it only shines through usage.
Being non geeky myself I kind of think I know what this might do but the truth is many of us do not quite understand what it is for. Just do not want to miss anything.
Well I am pretty thick. ;)
A little update: You can now set the image width and height in the admin interface, and not only in configuration file.
So, wherever did this hack go? I saw Oekaki, and had a literal joygasm, especially with Shi-Painter being mentioned. I would literally rip out my current Oekaki solution (Bah! at OekakiPoteto!) to replace it with this, if I could get my grubby little paws on it. ;)
Just a compatibility note for mac users (OS X):
Safari: Plugin loads, but the drawing space is continually updated with a blank overlay. IE: you can draw stuff, but you can't see it (the image will flash on and off while dragging the tool around... so close!)
Firefox/Mozilla/Camino: Plugin doesn't seem to load at all (at least not visibly)
Opera: Works fine.
IE: Works fine.
I haven't tested out OmniWeb or iCab (its still around right? used to be my browser of choice before Safari).
Other than that tho (which is browser rendering issues?), great hack, great app!
Didn't go anywhere, you might have chanced on the moment when the site was down, happens from time to time due to circumstances not under my control. Try downloading again.
As for browsers, I've tested it under Windows in Opera, MSIE and Firefox and it worked fine in all three, assuming Java is installed. If it does not load in Firefox, it means that JVM is not installed correctly or configured for it.
No idea about Safari.
Actually, it does work under Firefox and Konqueror just fine, but I'm talking Linux here.
hmm... might be a mac-specific issue then.
Thank you from all the manga anime drawing fans out there who have their own weblogs - and my god, aren't their a lot of them *envious of drawing skills*
