    The message:
“Yay! You’ve decided to leave a comment! That’s fantastic! Please keep in mind that comments are moderated so please do not use a spammy keyword or a domain as your name, or it will be deleted. Let’s have a personal and meaningful conversation instead. Thanks for dropping by! Required fields are marked”
shows up right below my “Leave a Comment”, but only when I am not logged into WordPress. Even more irritatingly, all of my attempts to find the block of code that is printing this has failed. Can anyone help?

    Most probably in wp-content/yourtheme/comments.php –

I’m using the theme ‘Mantra’, and there doesn’t appear to be anything relevant in there. Just seems to be loading up the template. Wouldn’t there be a line somewhere that says ‘echo “that”‘?

I have looked at the free Mantra theme (http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/mantra) and there’s nothing. You have to look elsewhere. Are you using a child theme? Which plugins do you use?

I am using cForms, but I don’t think it is applying to comments anyways. No other widget should be interfering with it. On top of that, the * marking required fields is in odd places. If you know where I can change the * on comments, it might be at the same place.
