odd code being sent from blog to twitter

    When I use either HootSuite or Feedburner to send my RSS to twitter, I get this kind of thing:

    yet another test post - var addthis_config = {"data_track_addressbar":true};</strong> trying a different service to post th... http://ow.ly/2sFWTv

    The part that concerns me istarts with “var addthis_config” etc.. It’s the same every time.

    It’s not on the post itself, nor is it there when RSS is viewed in Google Reader. Other twitter posts made from a variety of sources don’t have this problem, either.

    I deleted AddThis from my blog weeks ago, but I suspect that some remnant bit of code still exists. I don’t know where even to look to find this and try and deal with it. Any help, much appreciated.

    What if you just use Twitter’s API properly?

    Do you mean if I post the link in twitter myself? If I do that there’s no problem. It only happens when I use something like hootsuite or feedburner to do it automatically.

    To my knowledge (which is very limited) there’s no way to automate fetching RSS from within twitter itself is there?
