Numerical usernames

    I am developing a website for a client who have all his members registered by 4 digit numbers. Now he wants to use the same digits as username when someone is to register. So basically I need to:

    • limit the username field to 4 characters only
    • limit the username field to accept only numbers

      • Hope someone can help me out here, as I am quite new to WP.
