numerical sort

Hello

I have seen in a closed post from over a year ago that somebody else raised the question, it should have been resolved with an update but it doesn’t seem to work for me:

I am trying to sort a list by a field that contains numerical values. The sorting however treats the numbers as text and so the sort gets somehow mixed up (e.g. 49, 5, 50).

Should this be working by now or can I use a manual workaround (e.g. CAST?) Are there any other suggestions to solve this? As I am entertaining a database of mileage values the sorting issue is critical for my application…
