Hi Guys,
I'm seeing a hashtag followed by a seemingly random series of numbers being added to the end of all my permalinks.
E.g: http://www.studentnews.ie/cork-student-feared-drowned-as-search-efforts-for-trawler-continue-4404/#.TxRWKrgf6Hf
I'm referring, obviously, tot he #.TxRWKrgf6Hf part that follows the trailing slash.
Does anyone know what might be the case of this?
It's the Add This plugin. Try deactivating it.

Deleted the Add This plugin and replaced it with HTML but still have that problem. DO I have to get rid of the Add This code altogether?
Yes. In fact, try deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

Wow, that's a nuisance (we run like 20). I have a gut feeling that it has/had something to do with either Bullet Proof Security (BPS) or the caching plugin.
Oh - now you mention that you are using a caching plugin! You need to flush your cache.

Well, put it this way, every time I've seen this issue before (and I've seen quite a few here), it has always been the Add This plugin. My guess is that you are still seeing cached pages.

Yeah, for some reason I actually emptied the cache right after deleting AddThis but the numbers still showed up, but when I did it just there the problem had resolved. Thanks very much any way, those numbers at the end are hard to ignore for some reason.
