Number of Views Column

    Hello,

    I love WPBB, thanks for all your work on it. However, is it possible to display a column alongside “author” “posts” “last reply” etc. in the forum showing the number of views a topic has? To give some indication as to how many are reading but not replying.

    Some of our members have requested this but I haven’t seen it as an option in the admin menus. Is it possible to do this, whether by turning some feature on that I’ve missed or through some creative scripting? Thanks.

    Also is it possible to add a CAPTCHA form for posting replies or creating new topics? We would like to keep the forum open to guests but have been getting some spam posts that are clearly automated.

    Hey Nik_S,

    Thanks. It sure is, but since it’s going to require some work I’ll add this as a feature in the next version which should be released in a few days just before christmas.

    Another great idea, I’ve added this onto my to do list as well.

    Hey,

    I did actually finish adding a recaptcha system and almost finished view logging with forums/sub forums/topics but have also been working on rewriting the plugin for a premium version. Will try and finish it and then release that version as the last free version for a while. Thanks for your patience, will provide an update soon.
