Number of posts per page not working

    i keep trying to change the number of posts that can be displayed on a clients wordpress im setting up but for some reason its not working. i dont think its the theme.

    also in my widgets panel after i use a specific widget i cant add it again to another sidebar section – anyway around this?

    Your first issue is actually most likely theme specific…

    The second may also be, especially if it’s a theme specific widget (or the theme mucks with the new widgets code)- also, some widgets can be added only once, you will notice this if that widget no longer appears in the available widgets area. If it is still there, again, review with theme. It could be a plugin so test with all plugins deactivated.
