   Hi
   I have just done one of my regular prunes of rogue "users". I've noticed that it says there are 2 administrators at the top of the list. However, I've no recollection of creating another one & when I click administrators, only the default "admin" account (i.e. the one I use all the time) is listed.

   I've not noticed it before (can't remember now if 2.6 even gave a count on the user page, I certainly never noticed the 2 before)

   Is this a known quirk, or could there be a hidden administrator in there? My blog certainly doesn't appear to have been spammed/hijacked in any way. Just in case, I've now disabled registration. (Not sure why I'd left it enabled, as re-set comments so they no longer have to be members, I just have to approve the first time anyone comments)

   I just noticed the exact same thing on my blog today and I'm concerned about it. I know there were never two administrators indicated before. And, when I click to see the list, I am the only one listed (which is as it should be). Can someone please help us with this issue?

   log in to phpmyadmin
   browse the wp_users table
   how many admins does it show?
   If the rogue one is in there - delete it
