nRelate User Control Filter??? (9 posts)

    All of a sudden, I'm seeing this on the bottom of ALL the posts where my nRelate stuff is installed!...

    "Click to turn on user control

    Click to turn off user control

    Our new user control tool filters out content you dislike, and puts you in charge of what you read. Simply ‘x’ out items you don’t wish to see, and they will no longer pop up on this network. Then, enjoy quality content within a personalized user experience designed by you!"

    See example here.

    Is there any way to get rid of it??? It looks terrible + it's driving me NUTS!

    Thanks!

    @TheGG @mrtripper @mctenold -- We recently launched a new feature called User Control, which allows your visitors to give feedback on our recommendations.

    We're working on a css fix for the sites that are being affected - will link here with the fix instructions shortly.

    This worked for me:

    .nrelate .nr_uc_desc {display:none;}
    .nrelate .nr_uc_btns {display:none;}

    We’ve reverted user control and will work on including an option to turn this feature on/off. We’ll also have instructions with the css fix ready once we re-release user control. Will keep you all updated.

    WOW! I bet someone at nRelate is getting in trouble for this.

    What an embarrassing and annoying mistake.

    Note: We’ve re-released User Control and have included the option to turn this feature on/off.
