Posting here because there seems to be no where else, and you guys always seem to know everything!

It look like Rob Miller is not updating his Now Reading plugin anymore--or at least, he hasn't updated his site or responded to any questions in a long time. Yet this says it is compatible with 2.7.

I have 2.7 and I have upgraded my server with PHP 5, which fixed the problem of not being able to add books. Now I can add them, and I've gotten everything else to display correctly (modifying templates to match my theme and such), but I can't EDIT books. Clicking on any "edit book" link just brings me back to the "manage books" page. When I hover over a link that says "edit book", the address down at the bottom of my browser appears to be pointing to the right place, but somehow I just get redirected back to the page where I can manage all books. So I can upload them, mark their status, delete, etc, but I cannot rate or write reviews.

This seems like it would be a simple fix--but I'm at a loss as to what it might be. Any suggestions?

Hey, I've actually got this plugin working great on my site now. I think I fixed the problem above by going to the Options page and switching the admin view from Multiple to Single.

Also, someone else HAS taken this plugin under his wing! http://heliologue.com/2008/12/15/now-reading-for-wordpress-27/

    Hope that helps!

I've installed this new version but I still can't get the widget to work.

OK, it took some fancy mouse-clicking and installing, but that's fixed!
