I am beginning to develop a site for a low powered radio station (LPR) and I would like to have a "now playing" box in the sidebar. As I see it, the data would come from one of the calendar plugins. Obviously there would have to be some kind of recognizing of the program time in the calendar, then printing out the info.
Does anyone have an idea where I would start to make this happen?

What program will you be using to output the data of what will be playing? I would be able to help if you are on a Mac, but otherwise I may not be of much assistance.

I guess I didn't explain myself well enough. The "now playing" would not be the current song, but the current program that is on the air (though your offer is generous!).
I need a function or another plugin (I think) that will interact with one of the current events/calendar plugins. That interaction would recognize the event times and then print out the text of the current event (according to time).
Any ideas?
