   I can't seem to find how to register new subscribers for the blog, and set them to be notified everytime a new blog is posted. Can you help?

   Maybe look into RSS? That's how most of the world keeps up with blogs...

   Or get a free feedblitz.com email thingy setup and add a form to your blog's theme where folks can enter their emails.
