notification bar placement after scrolling

I have used this successfully on other sites and appreciate your plugin.

However, I have a issue on a current project I am trying to resolve.

When I load the site to preview the placement of the notification bar is perfect. It is at the top and it shifts the entire page content down the height of the bar. Perfecto.

As soon as I scroll down the page and then back up it is displaying over the top of my page content/ hiding part of the site header logo image.

Any thoughts?
