Sorry I was not notified of this post… did you get the problem sorted?

No, unfortunately i didn’t. Installing went perfectly.
After uploading a file there is no message being displayed and no file on my server or dropbox account.

Hi, I have the same problem. the site this is installed on is http://www.people-in-need.com/stuff-things/cookbook-project/, running on v3.4.2.
It sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t. I can upload anything I like from my own machine, but people are wondering why they upload things and then don’t hear from us. We check, and their upload is invariably not there.
    But some do arrive…

@okawari in version 1.8.5 there was a bug found where even though you selected CURL in the options page it wouldn’t always use that method. Many people solved the problem by either resetting the options or installing the revised version and then resetting the settings.

@ephalant This often happens when the file a person is trying to upload is larger then the size allowed by PHP. Some servers allow you to change that option in the php.ini file. Look for upload_max_filesize in your php.ini file.

@ephalant I just uploaded a 6mb image of an alligator and a smaller image of a boat dock. Can you confirm if you got them?

    Hi,

yes, I just found them, both here. Also email notification from one person that they uploaded a pdf, not here.
I’ve asked them to upload again and tell me if the system confirms the upload. No answer yet.

I was on 1.8.5 already and reset the thing again.

After ‘uploading’ there is no thank you message and even though i’ve set the ‘Show upload form again..’ to False, it shows up again.

I’ve tried CURL, PHP oAuth and PEAR oAuth.

It seems that something might be interfering with this plugin or caching is enabled on your host. The issue with Show upload form again was fixed a few versions back (1.6) My only suggestion would be to uninstall the plugin and download an install a fresh copy to see if that resolves your problem.
