    Hi,
    instead of editing the same album could you create a new album with the new playlist/channel id which will give shortcodes with different ID. Another client faced the same problem and it was resolved by creating a new album.
    Thanks!

    Hi, thank you for responding. Unfortunately that doesn’t help, I have tried different albums (and hence IDs) and in different spots of the site and still absolutely nothing shows.

    This plugin does not work! Nothing shows up when you add the shortcode to a post. (yes I have added the right username in the settings)

    Hi,
    This plugin requires that your server be able to communicate with other servers (for example youtube api server). Some hosting providers disable remote connectivity features. Changing the host may solve the problem.
    Thanks!

    I know this is an old post but hopefully it helps others. We had this same issue. Ended up having to ask our hosts to turn on the following php setting:

    allow_url_fopen = on

    Thanks mike for mentioning it.
    this plugin requires either
    allow_url_fopen = on
    or
    php5-curl module installed and enabled
    if either one of these is enabled, this should work.

    I also tried allow_url_open = on, but it doesn’t help me. Then I deactivated 3 other video-slider-plugins I’m testing at the moment, cleared cache, tried different browsers… Nothing is working (I test the free version).

    Give me a link to the page where you published the shortcode

    Here I tried the same youtube-channel with 2 different ids:

    [removed]

    Hi,
    you’re inserting the whole url
    http://www.youtube.com/user/ScienceMotionSports

    you should just insert
    ScienceMotionSports

    Oh sh**tt, I read exactly this mistake some days before in the forum and now did it myself. Thanks :-/
