I am attempting to set up a WP blog on 50webs.biz with my own domain. I tried using the installation instruction here, but they didn't seem to get me anywhere. Then I tried the Elefante script the host had and that seemed to put all the files in the right place, but when I tried to run install.php all I got was junk. I tried to troubleshoot it with the information in the support area, but that didn't seem to help. When I tried to use the administration login link, it just downloaded the php file and that's all. I am at a complete loss as to what to do now.
You give but very little information (what errors do you get, what happens, etc.), but the "it just downloaded the php file and that's all" suggest that you host either not supports or forgets to run PHP.
Check to make sure that your Host Plan meets the requirements to run WordPress.org software.

Also post any error messages you received, that helps others to see what is happening on your site so they can give better advice.
Good luck

I'm using the Starter package with appears to meet the requirements. I am now getting when I run the login.php URL a page that says
Error establishing a database connection
I checked the db name and all that and it appears to be correct. Should I delete the db and create a new one? Any other ideas?
