• Hello,

When I activate features like “Brute Force Prevention” or “Basic Firewall Rules” the following message appears:
    “Settings were successfully saved”

When I open the .htaccess file via FTP nothing has changed.
The Bruted Force Feature doesn’t work.

Permission settings to the .htaccess file in the root folder are 644

    This are my system informations:
    Betriebssystem Linux ovm4595 2.6.32-6-pve #1 SMP Tue Dec 6 11:06:22 CET 2011 i686
    Server Software HTTPD
    Server Signature HTTPD

Anyone got a solution for this?

I checked the logfiles of the Plugin and found the following error:

[12/16/2013 8:13 PM] – FAILURE : Unable to write to .htaccess – server type not supported!

My Webhoster means they use “Apache” which is marked as supported for this plugin??
