I've noticed that instead of showing the 'end of internet' message, I am getting a 'nothing found' post. This repeats at the end of the scroll. How do I make this not show and just the 'end of' message appear?

Posted 8 months ago #That happens when infinite-scroll doesn't get a 404 error. In WordPress ~3.0, WordPress doesn't always return a 404 when there are no more posts. The plugin does however try to force a 404, are you running this on the homepage or?

What seems to have caused this initially was having two posts side by side (on a fairly straight TwentyEleven child theme. I'd set a width to float two posts side by side instead of a single list of posts.
I couldn't work out why it did this, reset back to the parent theme and started again with new style.css.
This fixed it. Maybe it wasn't picking up the 404.php for some reason? I get how it works now, so I'll know what to look for.
