Not working on internal link with anchor

    I’m creating a site in which I have a portfolio section at the homepage.

    On the menu I have custom menu item with an id anchor (eg http://www.mysite.com/#portfolio) and when you click on it you are automatically scroll to the portfolio.

    At the homepage in which the portfolio section is, AWS works perfect.

    But at the other pages the link isn’t working. It just changes the url to the address bar.
    Despite that the link is working if you try to open it in a new tab/window.

    Is it possible to fix somehow that issue?
