My WordPress site can't be seen from Internet.
I have my own WordPress installed under Ubentu, and I can access it from my LAN but not from Internet.
I have made a hole in firewall on port 80 and I can see html pages outside .
i.e.
http://thisistokyo.servebbs.com works
http://thisistokyo.servebbs.com/wordpress does not work
In the General settings I have set
WordPress address (URL) http://thisistokyo.servebbs.com/wordpress
Blog address (URL) http://thisistokyo.servebbs.com/wordpress

I narrowed down the issue but don't know how to solve it.
Ubuntu is running under a VMware workstation and when I set the vmware network adapter to bridged it does not work.
I am using Ubuntu 9.10 server and WMWare 7.0.0-203739.

Lars i don't think yoru question really relates to WP usage. I'm not saying an answer isn't possible, but it may not get the traction it needs in the forum here.
Sounds like a WMWare question...
NOTE: I think port 80 will be reserved and you may need to use an alternate port, perhaps try 8888, i think that's usually a popular alternative.. or 8080 , although it's not really my field in honesty ...

I got the answer now and it works.
continuum told me this:
you have more than one physical network-card - this means you MUST disable "automatic bridging" in Virtual Network Editor" - please check that first.

Had a feeling you meant VMWare, glad you got it sorted anyhow... ;)
