Not Understanding Diff between URLs

    Hi guys,
    I’m a complete new user and just need one question answered which I searched for but was unable to find the answer to.
    I installed wordpress at http://www.myserver.com/wordpress/
    but when people come to my blog, I want it to go to http://www.myserver.com/blog/ and not have wordpress showing in the URI.
    So what do I need to do for this? Do I simply put the http://www.myserver.com/blog/ address in the Options under Blog URI or do I have to do something else on my part also? I did put that address in and when I go there, I get a 404. Do I have to copy all my files from wordpress over to blog? Or do I have to delete my install and re-install but unzip wordpress into the directory blog instead of wordpress? Sorry, if I’m confusing, I’ve confused myself.
    Thanks a lot. Oh and I have WP 1.2.1.

    The easiest way would have been to install it in a directory called “blog”.
    If you have it now in the “wordpress” directory, go into the admin panel, change the 2 URIs there (wordpress and blog) and then open your FTP client and rename the “wordpress” directory to “blog”.
