I've just bought a theme for my blog that displays photo's on it's "home" page.
What I want to do is have a button so people can click on it to go to the actual blog posts but I don't know how to do it.
I *think* what I need is to have it like http://discoverboo.com/blog but I don't know how to do it.
Any advice?

Micheal that was very helpful. only I need a little more help.
I have made the "myfrontpage" page, and a blog page too. but I don't know where to go to change it so the photo's show on my static page and then the blog posts show up on the blog page.
I'm using filezilla if that helps. And then have hostican which I rarely use and have very little clue about how it works other than to back up my files.
I don't know if this can be done through the wordpress admin area? Can it?
You would upload the photos into the page you are calling myfrontpage.
You would visit Administration > Settings > Reading to set the static front page options.
