    Hello!
I need the blog to stretch the whole width of the screen, I'm really having problems as I cannot find where this is defined! Any help would be appreciated! http://livingthematrix.com/blog2
    Cheers!

as usual, we suggest to visit this site: http://www.alexking.org/index.php?content=software/wordpress/styles.php
you can choose and download any of these styles. if you modify them, just keep the credits to the creator!

Looking at your site, you want no sidebar? Just entries all the way across? Okay... In your css, look for #content and change this line margin: 30px 13em 0 3em; to this margin: 30px 3em 0 3em;.
At least I think that's what you want

I too would like my webpage to automatically fill the sreeen. I've read the above posts but am still not sure what to do. I'm new to WordPress and while I understand that it uses css, I don't know how to access my css. I don't even know where it is.

Most likely it is in the wp-content/themes/whatever_your_theme is folder in style.css

Thanks John. But I don't see any directories. All I see is the WordPress browser interface where I log in as admin. Could you recommend someone who knows WordPress who will work with me to get my site up and running? I can pay for help. BTW my site is http://www.sos-test.com. Thanks Richard

John: One more thing. If you can recommend someone to help me, would you have them contact me directly at richardsmiley@comcast.net. It takes me a while to wheedle my way back to this forum, so I don't come here often. richard
