Not showing in IE7 and IE8

Hi, I run a WordPress multisite using the front-end editor plugin. Several of my users are reporting that they can’t see the ‘Edit’ link in IE7 and IE8. It sometimes works in IE7 and IE8 but not consistently. Please could you help! Thanks very much
