    On the Product Page tab

    Product Page Compare Button/Link Position

Button/Link Position relative to Add to Cart Button

    O Above
    O Below
Change position if Compare Button/Link does not show on Product Page.

Same with the Grid View Setting on the Grid View Style tab.

The plugin Hooks the Compare feature to the add to cart Button. Some themes have code that blocks the button hooking before the add to cart button and some after it. Change the position and it should show for you.

hey steve. i’m getting the button now on the “related products” after assigning a category outside of attributes inherited from woothemes,

but that’s the only place I see it,i don’t see it in Featured Products grid on the homepage, and i don’t see a button to add the current product i’m looking at.

also when adding a related product and clicking compare, it brings up only one item, and one feature/category …

multiple issues, likely i’m doing something wrong, but not sure what it is

I just activated the Artificer theme on the demo site

    Works perect

well i guess i’ll start fresh with new categories maybe it’s because i’m inheriting the categories from woocommerce attributes

i think that would be a good idea. I am making this thread as resolved. Thank you.

i’ve resolved a couple of the issues.

it was indeed due to inheriting categories from woocommerce attributes instead of creating them within product compare. which is strange and disappointing since now I’ll have to input everything twice for every product.

Also, without a price, the button won’t show up. Too bad, as I’m not selling anything.

I’ll take a look at the templates and see if I can add a price so it engages the hook, but doesn’t actual show the price and add to cart button.

Also, i think this MAY be a old version of artificer in your demo. The featured grid display is completely different. I still can’t get the button to show on the homepage in featured products. The image on the newest version of artificer displays the price in a transparent bar across the image. Not below it.

testing another theme (myst…), the buttons show up fine. definitely something to do with the new product display style on the homepage of artificer.

No problem – I’ll install the update and check that when I get a chance. Let you know what i find but it might be a day or 2. Thank you

also might note. With mystile, the button will show if there’s no price. but with artificer, if there’s no price, the button won’t show

I am running the Function theme from Woothemes and have a online catalog with no pricing on items and need to get the compare button to show up on product pages as well. One thread suggested inserting a add to cart button with short code then hiding it but I haven’t been able to get that to work.
