  • Hey nirgalo,

    thanks for reaching out!
We have installed the BuddyPress and BBPress plugins and noticed that those groups are saved in arrays, which (unfortunately) our plugin can’t search. BTW, did you know you can add a special search bar created by the BBPress plugin in your sidebar, where you can search your posts/topics? Just go to “Appearance”->”Widgets” and move that “BBPress Forum Search Form” to your sidebar.

Please do let us know if you have any more questions or if we can be of any other assistance.
Take care & have a nice day!

Hi Petra. Well I just looked into my DB and saw the posts made into groups and set up into the wp_activity_table (BuddyPress 2.x), column “content”. You can tell by the “component” column whether this is a group post or other. There should be no problem with searching in there.

    Hey,

thanks for getting back to me! Unfortunately, this seems to be too ambitious for our plugin and I am really sorry for the inconvenience. But you are more than welcome to try Relevanssi which has options to include forums and topics. Or you can try one of these: http://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/resources/replace-the-default-wordpress-search-engine-with-something-better .

Hope this helps, all the best,
    Petra
