Hello I'm trying to create a scenario where users are charged for creating groups. I set 5000 points to be charged for creating a group. But users are able to create groups even if they have a very low points like a 100 points. Its deducting all the points they have and showing the -5000 notification on the top, but not restricting them to create a group.

Note: I'm using it on a multisite + buddypress and changed the "groups" taxonomy into "projects"
Also I already tried In the admin settings under spam control, set how many points are required in order to see the create a group page. .. But a message shows up under the group creation form just above the submit or continue button, saying "you don't have enough points to create this group" or something similar. But still it doesn't stop them from creating a group..

Note 2: actually there was a popup massage which says " the page at mysite.com says"

There is nothing else after the "says" word. And clicking OK redirects me to the homepage. I stopped the page load before redirecting to the homepage and was able to create groups unrestrictedly.
