I second that. If it were responsive I would be much more likely to use it. And it would be nice to be able to style it.
All the plugin elements are responsive, specific commenting systems e.g. G+ that show themselfs inside of iframes should have a bug / issue filed with them as said before because this plugin ( nor any other ) cannot control cross domain iframes

This website
http://3doordigital.com/wordpress/plugins/google-plus-comments/
has responsive google comments and facebook (another posts).
There must be something with the plugin.
Why users of this plugin have no responsivness?
No, look at the actual code, its not responsive at all, its a JS hack that is unreliable.
I modified the #comment-tabs div to reside within an .embed-container div with the following CSS…
.embed-container {
position: relative;
overflow: hidden;
}
.embed-container iframe,
.embed-container object,
.embed-container embed {
position: absolute;
top: 0;
left: 0;
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
}
There is a brief description about a quarter way down in this article describing
Embedding Third-Party Content: The Responsive Iframe Problem
http://mobile.smashingmagazine.com/2013/05/29/the-state-of-responsive-web-design/
It seemed to work for my needs.
