Not redirecting to the www version (2 posts)

    Hi,

I have a blog that doesn't redirect correctly.

I have set both WordPress address (URL) and Site address (URL) to www followed by the domain name (i.e. http://www.example.com)

But I can still access both http://example.com and http://www.example.com in my browser (which I believe is bad in relation to SEO).

Is there a way to fix this, so http://example.com automatically redirects to http://www.example.com

    Thanks,
    Mads

Turns out that W3 Total Cache fills the .htaccess file with stuff.

If I overwrites the .htaccess file with a classic, simple version, the redirect problem goes away.

So now my question is: Does W3 Total Cache creates a SEO issue or not?

I would say so, since Google considers example.com and http://www.example.com to be two different pages.
