  • Do you know how to access your database through phpMyAdmin?

No clue. It’s been so long that I’m forgetting how to do any of this. I can’t get into my cPanel through my host either, but that is a different thing.

Actually, that’s exactly what you need to do. You can access your database through your cpanel and find out what email is stored as that value.

Will my hosting tech support be able to explain to me how to find it from there?

They should be able to help you gain access to your cpanel, and how to open your phpMyAdmin… but I’m not sure how much help they will be as far as “looking” through your actual database tables.

I am having the same issue, but when I ask for the e-mail to reset my password, it tells me that the e-mail (which I also checked in phpMyAdmin) is invalid:

ERROR: There is no user registered with that email address.

I uninstalled and reinstalled wordpress on my site using fantastico and it is still having the same issue with the new username, passord and e-mail address.

    Any suggestions?
