    I have never been able to receive emails notifying me of new users/subscribers. I’ve used 2 different widgets, Navayan subscribe and Subscribe2 to test this out. Subscribers are receiving everything fine, but I personally do not receive any type of email notification when I have a new subscriber/comment, etc. I tried both widgets out to see if it was a problem with one, but now I think it is a general glitch going on in WordPress where me, as admin, am simply not receiving emails regarding new users. I have everything checked that needs to be checked in these widgets to be notified. I do see that my email in my general settings is admin@mydomainname.com. My site is elizpoore.com. Does anyone know why this is happening?

    I’m not very savvy and did not understand anything in that post.

    If you cannot manage this yourself, perhaps you need to consider hiring someone to carry out the work for you?

    I have set my entire website up on my own, know how to do most things. Do not need someone to carry out anything for me. I just have this one issue that I need resolved. THe thread that was recommended was not a resolution for my problem.

    I simply am just not receiving emails with there is a new user on my website, or a new subscriber in Subscribe2. I’ve searched tons of forums there and haven’t found a solution. If anyone knows how to fix that please let me know.

    This is a known site/server specific issue. The fixes are outlined in the page I linked to above. We do not have any other solutions to offer you,.

    Wow. This is my first post since having WordPress in October, what a disappointing response.

    I’m sorry but what were you expecting? This is your site and you have to learn the skills needed to maintain it. There is (quite literally) absolutely nothing we can do from here.

    The description in the link you provided me as a solution says “When users try to register with your blog or change their passwords by entering their username and/or email, WordPress indicates that their password has been emailed to them, but it is never received.”

    However, that is not my problem. Users are receiving everything perfectly, it is just me, I am the only administrator, that am not receiving emails. I looked through tons of forums about this problem and not receiving notifications, just can’t find a solution.

    I’m expecting that even though I may not be the most experienced communicator when it comes to website jargon, I am not an idiot and can figure it out if I am guided a little easier than the link you sent me. I thought that’s the point of support, for you to explain it a little further if I’m not quite getting it, or need more help. I would really appreciate further assistance as this is a big problem for me.

    It’s still exactly the same situation. You need to work through the steps on that page.
