not ready to strut, please tell me what my photography word press needs

    my wordpress site is http://iansandsphotography.com/ I feel that it’s not as slick / simple as it could be and maybe there are some better plugins out there for sharing on social networks and maybe a better choice to build a mailing list. Maybe a better way to display my images. Maybe a better theme, but I do like mantra. I hope to eventually add a shopping cart but first I want my site to be just right and simple for users to share and come back to. Please help, I truly appreciate it. Thank you, Ian

    My first thought upon visiting your site was finding the navigation a bit much and cluttered.
    I would try to add the beaches, birds, etc.. as subpages of photo galleries. I think that having dropdowns would clean things up a bit.

    Ok I changed some things, I like the look and feel of the pages, except I’m not sure about the gallery pages. I’m using wppa+ which I’ve found is the best album maker for me, one main reason being when each individual image is displayed it still allows individual comment and share buttons. But I’m open on better more appealing ways to display galleries, and another gallery plugin, please advise.

    Also, what feature / plugin is my site missing that I should add? Thank you so much. Ian

    Much better, Abacoian. That theme really brings out your work.
    A suggestion; what about styling up that email-subscribe form to something like this http://awesomescreenshot.com/03cnk5hcc ?

    Andrew thank you, yes that subscribe button looks awesome, please tell me how I can do that.

    And I messed with wppa+ colors and thumb sizes and think it looks better
