[resolved] not possible to log in after moving wp installation files to another directory (1 post)

I moved all my wp files from subdir. folder to root public html folder, in order to get my blog as my primary domain. Now when I go to "domain.com" instead of "domain.com/something" , i can find my wp blog. But then when i want to log in to admin page I can't anymore. I entered several times my username and password, but always get the same message saying : 7 attempts remaining. this does not even change, it always says 7 attempts remaining even if i try to log in again.
For info I did edit my sql db file making a search/replace for all "domain.com/something to "domain.com" , so i thought that would work ok but it is not the case. Also I had multisite installed as subfolders.
If someone knows what I can do to fix the situation I would be really gratefull. If not I'm gonna have to install everything from scratch and lose my work...Thanks in advance for your help.
