   After upgrading from WP-1.5 to WP-2.0, no other blog is pinged by my given trackback-URL to a posting.

   So I

   * reinstalled all WP-2.0 php-files again: No success!

   * upgraded again with full deleting the php-files and folders: No Success

   * deleted all WordPress tables in database for a complete new installation: Success, hum :)

   * BUT: after inserting old wp-post-table (imported directly via SQL): NO PING AT ALL!

   So, please, whyyyyy?

   So a fresh, no posts made 2.0 does ping

   An upgraded blog does not ?

   And importing a 1.5.2 tables into 2.0 will definitely cause unpredictable behaviour.

   How do you know it's not pinging ?

   we tested it with other blogs. So there was no trackback set.

   it also failed after normal upgrading from 1.5 to 2.0

   Any suggests?
