Nevermind - I found the article thru Google. . .
My WP files are located at mydomain.com/blog so I am now using a redirect at mydomain.com to send people to the blog. What must I do to leave the files where they are yet visitors see the blog at mydomain.com? I know I've seen detailed instructions somewhere but can't find now.
I also want to upgrade to 2.0 Once I fix hurdle 1, do I just follow directions here for upgrade?
