• Hello,

I see a couple folks have asked the question but for someone who isn’t a developer, I still can’t figure it out.

We’re not getting any of the emails through our contact forms. I’ve tried multiple emails in the To: field of the form and nothing is getting pushed to my spam folder even though the form says the email was sent successfully…

Any practical ideas. I would just jump to a new plugin but am afraid to install something that could throw other things on the website out of whack.

    Thanks!

  • Do you get any emails from your WordPress site? Like comment or new subscriber notifications?

Good question… It looks like when someone comments on the blog, we’re not getting notifications of those posts event though things are setup to do so. Any idea what that means?

Sounds like mail() is not supported on your server. See E-mailed passwords are not being received

But our contact forms were working like a month ago and we haven’t made any changes to our hosting… could this be something from a recent wordpress update?

Have you checked your spam/junk mail? I had that happen to me.

    I don’t know if it’s related.

I needed to put an extra plugin in place: SMTP. Then I configured it with the client’s email account (which is a gmail).

    Hope this helps.

Yes, I did check the spam just in case but nothing is going in there…

So I downloaded ‘WP SMTP’ and we have google apps so I created a new account for the website. Now, if I configure this account in the plugin, will our website contact form work when someone submits a message?
